Comments
This is another distance day. Depending on the details, it may be possible to exit Interstate 75 to US Route 41 for a portion of the trip south. But I think I would rather get to Miami in time to do a bit of sightseeing. I'll probably leave fairly early the next day to get to Key West.

Miami's South Beach is famous for its Art Deco style of architecture.
Pan Am an important part of aviation history. Pan Am was the premier US air carrier and would still exist if it weren't for unintended consequences of airline deregulation and poor management. But in its glory, Pan Am pioneered travel to the rest of the world. At one time in high school, my travel wanderlust told me to work for Pan Am or the State Department in order to get out of town. At the time, Pan Am required flight attendants and pursers to speak two languages plus English. That is a real uphill climb for most Americans. Pan Am was founded in Miami and this site is a gathering point for ex-Pan Am employees.
