Comments

Another day currently planned as mostly superslab. Not sure if this plan will stand again it depends on weather conditions and the outlook for the next couple of days. There are some alternatives along part of the route, for example US Route 80 runs roughly from Savannah to Macon. This may be a great alternative taking out 2/3rds of the interstate highway mileage.

Current plans have a layover planned for Atlanta.

Creative Loafing, information about things to do

Atlanta's High Museum

Often people ask who is your hero. I can honestly say that Martin Luther King Jr. is my personal hero. Here is the National Park Service website for the Martin Luther King Historic Site.

Another person for whom I have tremendous personal regard is Jimmy Carter. Not so much for his achievements during his presidency but rather the amazing grace he displays after leaving the presidency. The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library is in Atlanta.

Another Atlanta creation is Coca Cola. Some people go crazy about this American icon. I don't want to name names, but.

Gay Atlanta resources for residents and visitors.
