Comments

This should be a great day. I'm wandering through the Great Smokey Mountains and environs. About 2/3rds of the mileage is on designated scenic routes -- so this ought to be a great ride. If it proves to be too much (big bike, fully loaded), there are several point where I can change course and get back to more civilized roadways. I hope that is not the case -- I should just slow down and enjoy the ride.

In 1982, Knoxville hosted a world exposition. I'm quite a fan of world's fairs. I've been to three: Expo86 in Vancouver, BC; Expo88 in Brisbane Australia and the overwhelming Expo92 in Sevilla Spain. Sounds like its time to go to one soon.
