At intersection with Rhode Island Route 138, take 138 east.

At Newport, turn onto Rhode Island Route 114 heading north.

At intersection with Rhode Island Route 24 take Route 24 heading east.

Enter Massachusetts

Outside Fall River, MA, enter Interstate 195 heading east.

At next exit, take Massachusetts Route 24 (Amvets Memorial) heading east.

At exit 13, take US Route 44 heading east.

Outside Plymouth MA, turn onto Massachusetts Route 3 (Pilgrims Highway) heading north.

At intersection with Interstate 93, take I-93 north.

I have planned this routing to get me OFF interstates and back on the roads. I'm looking forward to riding through some of these great old towns with all the history.

Finally arriving in Boston -- a great city that I have never visited.
