SIGHTS AND SITES ALONG THE WAY

Seattle's Space Needle is a visible vestige of the 1964 World Exposition. So is the monoral that links downtown Seattle to the former World Exposition site. The styling of the monorail interior is like some kind of retro 50s streamline deluxe orgasm.

Fodors Seattle Page

Seattle is also famous as the home of Boeing. Tours occur daily at the Everett Tour Center.

Also new in Seattle is the Experience Music Project. The building that houses the EMP was designed by Frank Gehry. Salon.com provides a wonderful overview of this gifted man's work.
