SO WHAT ARE YOU RIDING?

1997 Honda Valkyrie touring, emerald green and ivory. It should have between 16,000 and 17,000 miles on the clock when departure day rolls around. Serial Number; Here is a review of the motorcycle when it was introduced in 1997.
Cobra driving lights
Maxon CB Radio HCB-40WX has a 40 channel CB radio and weather bands. Mounts on the handlebar using J&M audio packs and helmet speaker / mic kits. Doctor Tony suggested this setup and it seems to work great although I just got it.
Hondaline chrome saddlebag guard rails to protect the permanent hard cases. Also added the chrome radiator cap, oil filler cap and rear carrier.
Replaced rear shocks with a set of progressive air shocks and springs.
I don't believe in a loud exhaust as a motorist alarm system, however I did install a pair of Rivco Air Horns to alert drivers when they straight into my road (or look like they may).

HOW DO I GET BY WITH SO LITTLE TO WEAR?

This is going to be a tough problem. I'm basically limited to what I can stuff into my soft luggage that will be strapped to the passenger seat.

Jeans (3 pair)
T Shirts (3-4 colored / printed) I retired one shirt in Pensacola and replaced it.
Polo Shirts (2) added in Pensacola. For when you need something better than biker wear.
Long Sleeved Shirts (2) one lost in a drunken haze in New Orleans
Long Sleeved Thermal Shirt
Pair of Boots for riding
Pair of Shoes for walking / hiking.
Socks, underwear

In addition to clothing, I will have motorcycle gear. The gear will be carried in my left hand hard bag.

Rain Suit -- finally obtained some rain gear but it is not motorcycle specific. I'm just too damned big and too damned tall to fit into anything offered.
Helmet -- need a new one. Got a new one to go with the new J&M headset.

My current plans have me carrying the following devices on hand:

Apple iBook Laptop with AC adapter, modem cable
Springboard Visor PDA with USB cradle
Sony Digital Video / Still Camera, AC adapter, battery charger and USB memory stick reader.
Nokia cell phone.
Canon EOS 35 mm SLR film camera. There is nothing like film.
